Practical musculoskeletal ultrasound workshop of the lower limb
A big step has been taken for this 43rd orthopaedic congress with the implementation of musculoskeletal ultrasound training courses of the lower limb.
This 3 days course based in the middle of the mountain allowed our friends orthopedic surgeons to exchange the scalpel against a linear probe. Happy to be self dissected in vivo by ultrasonic waves, they all enjoy in a very friendly working atmosphere.
All this would of course not have been possible without a flawless organization of the GECO’s members whom I thank for their warm collaboration, including Mrs Peron and Mr Ruillier for their incredible work. I thank the Professors Dubrana and Mainard and Dr Hummer for their trust in Dynamecho.
The Golden Globe returning to Dr. Thomas Neri for his incredible kindness, accessibility and invaluable help throughout all the workshops.
Finally, I would like to thank Fujifilm Sonosite and GE Healtcare for their logistical support with their ultrasound equipment and technical support.
The place of ultrasound in orthopedics will be, like the scalpel, a precision tool with which the technical gestures and the diagnosis will be more acurate . Congratulations to these new pioneers who have come to learn the use of MSK Ultrasound. Undoubtedly they are building the future in orthopaedics and a better tomorrow for the good of the patients.
Cant’t wait for the 44th Congress of the GECO in 2020!
